Charles M. Stam is a trial lawyer who represents individuals who have been seriously injured or killed in oilfield, 18 wheeler, maritime, plant and refinery, and other catastrophic accidents.

Charles received his undergraduate degree, in History and Political Science, from Columbia University. He relocated to Texas to study at the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors (cum laude). At UT Law, Charles sat on the editorial board of The Review of Litigation, interned for the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez (United States District Judge, Western District of Texas), and worked as a research assistant.

After graduating from law school, Charles moved to Mississippi to clerk for the Honorable Debra M. Brown (United States District Judge, Northern District of Mississippi).

Charles is licensed to practice law in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Before joining Zehl & Associates, Charles worked at a boutique trial firm in Houston that focused on representing institutional plaintiffs in complex commercial litigation.
